Take the number of fat grams in a serving and multiply by 9 (because there are 9 calories in a gram of fat). Take that result and divide by the total calories in a serving, then multiply by 100 for the percentage. For example:
120 cal per serving, with 2 g of fat:
2X9 = 18
18/120 = 0.15
0.15 X 100 = 15% fat
