How to calculate saving as a percentage?

I have two quotes one for $6,895 and one for $6179.

How can I figure out the percentage savings for the lower quote??How to calculate saving as a percentage?
find the difference between the two: 6895-6179=716

then divide the difference with the larger number: 716/6895=0.104

then move the decimal two places to the right of the answer and the answer is 10.4%.

I did round up the answer when dividing so it's actually 10.3843etc......
Excellent, thank you for a straight forward answer on this. Just needed to double check my excel spreadsheet and it really helped to have these notes to go by.
