Calculate the percentage (by weight) of oxygen in the product formed when a 7.63-g sample of sulfur combines w?

CHEM HELP PLZ....

Calculate the percentage (by weight) of oxygen in the product formed when a 7.63-g sample of sulfur combines with oxygen to give 15.24 g of a pure compoundCalculate the percentage (by weight) of oxygen in the product formed when a 7.63-g sample of sulfur combines w?
You know there is 7.63 g S

So mass O = total mass compound formed - mass S

= 15.24 g - 7.63 g

= 7.61 g O

% O = mass O / total mass x 100/1

= 7.61 g / 15.24 g x 100

= 50.0 % ( 3 sig figs)
