How to calculate biomass percentage?

I am really confused about how you do this, this is the question:



Grass - 10,000

Sheep - 5000

Ticks - 30



Calculate the percentage of biomass passed on from:



Producer to primary consumer

Primary consumer so secondary consumer



Any help would be much appreciated, please show me how you worked it out.

Sheep - 5000 from 10.000 Grass = 50%.



Ticks - 30 from 5000 Sheep = 30/5000 x 100 = 0.6%
