How can i calculate the percentage of change of cylinder if the diameter is increased by 25%?

((new volume - old volume) / old volume) * 100

Volume is pi * d^2 * h

pi = 3.14159

d = diameter

h = cylinder height

in your case if if d is original diameter then (1.25 * d) is the second diameter

the unknown value d will cancel out of the % change equation
