its not what percentage u got out of the 40... its still a 100% scale except it counts 40% of the whole class



so u got a 45.5 out of 60 u divide then multiply by 100



so u got 70% on your final test so then u take this then multiply it by 40%



basically this one test counts 10% less then 50% of what u did in the class...



if you had a A in the class this will drop your grade to a C+ or a C- depending how you were doing in the class...
