How to calculate the actual percentage of water in copper sulfate?

OK. I know the basics of you divide mass of water by mass of copper sulfate +water. I know that CuSO4*5H20 is the actual formula for the hydrated salt but to get the actual percentage do I just take the mass of 5H20 and divide it by the mass of CuSO4*5H20 and then multiply by 100? because I'm not sure. How to calculate the actual percentage of water in copper sulfate?
U re perfectly correct my friend. How to calculate the actual percentage of water in copper sulfate?
Correct, % H2O = (5 H2O / CuSO4 x 5H2O) x 100%

= (90.1 / 249.7) x 100% = 36.1% H2O
