How do I calculate my percentage from my test result?

I had four exams in german.

I got 25/25 in one.

23.5/25 in another

21/25 in another.

The fourth im still waiting for the results..

But what is my percentage for each test ?

I know that 25/25 is 100%.. but the others are confusing :)

Divide the result (what you actually got) by the total (what it was out of) and then multiply by 100

In other words, divide the top by the bottom and multiply the answer by 100

That's how you work out all percentage

I'm presuming that none of your tests were for arithmetic!



Anyway, "one percent" is "one out of one hundred"..



25/25 * 100 = 1 * 100 = 100%

23.5/25 = 0.94 * 100 = 94%

23.5 / 25 = 0.94



0.94 x 100 = 94%





21 / 25 = 0.84

(you need to times the score by 4 as there are 4 25s in 100).
23.5x4=94

21x4=84
