Net sales in 2006 = $19,315
Net sales in 2007 = $24,006
Difference = $24,006 - $19,315 = $4,691
Percentage change = $4,691/$19,315 = 24.3%

Absolutely correct.
Be wary, there are two types of percentage change though. Couplets and cumulative.
Couplet, you merely look at growth on previous year (or term).
Cumulative, you compare each year to the base year (term) however many years back.
