How do I calculate the percentage difference between 2.75 and 2.48?

How do I calculate the percentage difference between 2.75 and 2.48?How do I calculate the percentage difference between 2.75 and 2.48?
Divide. Divide the larger into the smaller to see percentage the smaller is of the larger and vise versa.

Example. 2.48 divded by 2.75 is .9018 meaning 2.48 is about 90% of 2.75 and 2.75 divided by 2.48 is 1.10088 meaning 2.75 is about 110% of 2.48.

An easy way for me to remember is using 1/2. divide 2 by 1 and you get .500 or 50% and reverse it and you get 2 or 200%. Can do this in your head. Convert fractions to decimals the same way. Change decimals to percentage move (. the dot) two places right.
This is a wild guess....Add the two together (5.23 ) then divide by 50%??? (2.62)

I always sucked at math.How do I calculate the percentage difference between 2.75 and 2.48?
(2.75-2.48)/original *100, i dont kno if the original is supposed to be 2.75 (-9.818%) or 2.48 (10.887%)
Subtract the two numbers and divide by the original. Take decimal times 100.

2.75-2.48=0.27

0.27/2.75 (if 2.75 was the original number)=0.098181818181...

*100=9.82%How do I calculate the percentage difference between 2.75 and 2.48?
2.75 - 2.48 = 0.27 difference.

(0.27 梅 2.48) x 100 = 10.9%.

So. 2.75 is 10.9% greater than 2.48.

And,...(0.27 x 2.75) x 100 = 9.8%.

So,...2.48 is 9.8% less than 2.75.
Let x = the percentage difference between 2.75 and 2.48

x = (2.75 - 2.48) / 2.75

x = 27/275

x = 9.81 9/11%
you should use ratios

2.48/2.75 = 0.901 and *100 for a percentage of 90.1%

then 100% - 90.1% is the difference

so 100-90.1 is 9.9%
