We're using Math Makes Sense 7 and I'm kinda confused because I can't seem to understand how to add the 6% of GST onto the end result of the questions with a calculator, so can anyone explain that to me? And my calc doesnt follow the operational procedure(BEDMAS) so will I need to get a scientific calc(ie iPod Touch)?

(1+6%)*GST
let say GST=100 then
100*1.06=106
