How to calculate the percentage of CaCO 3 that will react to reach equilibrium...?

Calculate the percentage of CaCO 3 that will react to reach equilibrium if If 38 g of CaCO 3 are put in a 5.7 L container and heated to 800 掳C?

For the reaction below K p= 1.16 at 800 掳C.

CaCO 3 ( s) 鈫?CaO ( s) + CO 2 ( g)

A step-wise answer would be greatly appreciatedHow to calculate the percentage of CaCO 3 that will react to reach equilibrium...?
Kp = partial pressure CO2 = 1.16

moles CO2 = pV/RT = 1.16 x 5.7/ 0.08206 x 1073 K = 0.0750

the ratio between CO2 and CaCO3 is 1 : 1

moles CaCO3 reacted = 00750

mass CaCO3 = 0.0750 mol x 100 g/mol=7.50 g

% = 7.50 x 100/ 38=19.7 ( 20 % at 2 significant figures)
