How do I Calculate this percentage?

I need an explanation on how to calculate this answer..

Q: On one test, I received 15/20. The percentage weighting for this exam was 20%. What percentage is this then out of 100% (total marks for semester)?How do I Calculate this percentage?
(15/20) * (0.2) = 0.15 = 15%

Your other question would be done the same way: (23/30) * (0.3) = 0.23 = 23%

Hope I helped
15%. you got 75% on the exam, which is worth 20% of your final grade. So, the portion of your final grade is, (15/20)*(.2) which is .15, or 15%.How do I Calculate this percentage?
15/20x100=75%
The total marks for the test is 20. The percentage weighting for this exam was 20%. Which means 20 % of the total marks for the semester is 20.

So, let the total marks for the semester be x.

20 % of x = 20

20/100 * x = 20

x = 20 * 100/20

x = 100

Now that we found out that total marks is 100, let's find out how much percentage you get for 15 marks out of 100 :-

15/100 * 100 % = 15 %

Hence, your answer is 15 %

Hope it helps !How do I Calculate this percentage?
(15/20)x(100)(20/100) = 15%
