How do you calculate percentage error when the actual (expected) value is 0? Dividing by zero is N/A!?

You can't. Which is why no one applies percentage error to data whose value is expected to be zero.

Edit: fixed amusing typo.How do you calculate percentage error when the actual (expected) value is 0? Dividing by zero is N/A!?
I had problems with this too.

Dividing by 0 = undefine

Undefine just tells you that there is no definite answer, but for a certain situation there will be one.

You might not have seen the 2nd half of my statement, but that's what I believe is the definition of undefine.

Suppsoe you had an apple. You share it to no one, not even yourself. How much of an apple is shared?

apple / people

people = 0

apple / 0 = 0 apple

There will be different situations.

Answer using your logic. It'll work out.
