I forgot how to do percentages.



Lets use $100 as an example. So lets say I got paid $100 this week and I want to save 10%.

To find a percent of anything, change the percent to a decimal and multiply. (Remember "of" always means "times" in math.)



So 10 percent of something is the same as multiplying it times 0.10, eight percent is the same as multiplying it times 0.08, etc.
