How to calculate a percentage score withing a percentage?

for the purpose of grades. The coursework is weighted 30% (exam 70%). If i had 3 coursework scores, for example; 70 worth 10% of the coursework mark, 80 worth 30%, 90 worth 70%. how do i work calculate how much those scores are worth in total? e.g. i would have made 20% of the whole course with just coursework. How to calculate a percentage score withing a percentage?
Just multiply each score by the weight, remembering that a percentage is a measurement in hundredths:

70 * 10% + 80 * 30% + 90 * 70%

= 70 * 0.10 + 80 * 0.30 + 90 * 0.70

= 7 + 24 + 63 = 94

I am assuming here that each of those coursework scores is actually out of 100, so it's really a percentage as well. If not, you need to convert it to a percentage by dividing by the best possible mark.

So your coursework score is 94. But again, that's weighted at 30%, so

94 * 30% = 94 * 0.30 = 28.2

which is the value of your coursework score as a percentage of the final grade. If, for example, you get 90 out of 100 on the exam, your final score would be

28.2 + 90 * 70% = 28.2 + 63 = 91.2
