How would you calculate the following percentage problem?

If something went from .02 cents to .64 cents, what percentage increase would that be, and please show how you solved it. Thanks in advance.How would you calculate the following percentage problem?
To find percent of increase, you use this formula:

(difference of the 2 amounts) / original amount = (0.64 - 0.02)(100) / 0.02

0.62(100) / 0.02 = ?????How would you calculate the following percentage problem?
100 % increase means add that amount to itself. For your starting value of 2 cents,

100% increase = 4 cents

200% increase = 6 cents

300% increase = 8 cents

Working backwards from the end, using 8 cents as the end, 8 cents - 2 cents = 6 cents, 6 cents divided by 2 cents = 3, so 8 cents is a 300% increase from 2 cents.

64 cents - 2 cents = 62 cents

62 cents divided by 2 cents = 31, so 64 cents is a 3100% increase from 2 cents.How would you calculate the following percentage problem?
Increment: .64-.02

=.62cents

percentage: (.62/.02)*100=31*100

=3100percent
.01=1%

62% ===%26gt; 64%

=%26gt; 2% increase
