Additional Details
What i mean to say how much have the sales increased in the second week compared to the first ? how do i work this out ?How to calculate percentage ?
If you take the larger number and divide it by the smaller, then multiply it by 100, you get the percentage increase. In your case, 1367/1236*100 = 110.6% so you have a 10.6% increase.How to calculate percentage ?
last week sale = 1236
Present week sale=1367
difference= 1367-1236
= 131
increased percentage = (difference/last week sale) * 100
=( 131/1236) * 100
= 10.59 %How to calculate percentage ?
The second week sale is (1367/1236)*100 = 110.6% of sale in the first week. That is , the sale has increased by 10.6%.
1367 - 1236 = 131
131/1236 x 100% = 10.6%
The increase in sales was 10.6%
