The sales had risen from 拢6.3 million in 2001 to 拢34 million in 2006.
Calculate the percentage growth in the UK market between 2001 and 2006.
How do I do this?
How do you calculate percentage growth?
34-6.3 divided by 6.3
(from the equation: difference divided by original)
34-6.3=27.7
27.7 divided by 6.3=
4.3968253...and it goes on...
then you convert the decimal into a percent..
so about 440 %
(ok, so this is just how I think it works, but it might be wrong)
How do you calculate percentage growth?
divide the future number by the original number. In this case the growth in sales was 540% over that period.
