How do I calculate the percentage by mass of nitrogen in Pb(NO3)2?

Need help again.

How do I calculate the percentage by mass of nitrogen in Pb (NO3)2?How do I calculate the percentage by mass of nitrogen in Pb(NO3)2?
Start by finding out the weight per mole of Pb(NO3)2.

Pb - 207.2 g/mol

N - 14.007 g/mol

O - 15.999 g/mol

Pb(NO3)2 - 331.208 g/mol

So if you want the percentage of nitrogen then do the following:

% nitrogen = (mass nitrogen)/(total mass)*100%

% nitrogen = 28.014/331.208 * 100% = 8.46%How do I calculate the percentage by mass of nitrogen in Pb(NO3)2?
Calculate the molar mass of Pb(NO3)2 = 207.2+(2*14.007) +(6*15.999)

Molar Mass Pb(NO3)2 = 331.208

Molar mass 2N = 28.014

%N = 28.014/331.208*100

%N = 8.46%
